From crisis to purposeful, human-centered learning
IEW26 focuses on shifting education away from rigid, grade-obsessed "supertankers" toward agile, "speedboat" solutions that turn real-world crises and digital turmoil into purposeful, human-centered learning. Building on the realization that uncertain times require rapid innovation, the event explores how deep tech, AI, and predictive analytics can empower individual learners and educators to break down bureaucratic hierarchies and create their own technological tools.
Across five days of hackathons, academic dialogues, and venture exchanges, the program tackles four major fault lines in EdTech: leveraging crisis for innovation, utilizing AI for language equity, distinguishing defensible products from quick code, and shifting power from big corporations to independent creators building solutions directly in the field.
